The Premier League Title: A Distant Memory for Arsenal?
Arsenal legend David Seaman has hailed the Gunners as ‘genuine contenders’ for the Premier League crown next season, as the club eyes its first league triumph since their historic ‘invincibles’ campaign in 2004.
Arsenal celebrate their 2004 Premier League title win
Seaman, who won numerous trophies with Arsenal during his 13-year stint at the club, expressed his past frustrations in an interview with Football London: “I remember when we celebrated - quite a lot actually - getting top four, and I was like, ’this is not like the Arsenal I know’. Normally if we finish fourth it’s a bad season.”

But now, with Arsenal having not secured the Premier League title in two decades, Seaman is convinced that his old club is on the brink of reclaiming their former glory. He added: “Yeah, we’re getting better and better. The last two seasons have been really positive, we’re now genuine contenders.”
Seaman also highlighted the areas where the Gunners need to strengthen if they are to compete at the highest level, insisting: “Do we need a couple of players? Yeah, I think we do. I still feel we could do with a striker. There are transfer rumours of different players coming in but we need a marquee signing as in a striker, you know? A finished article.”

And then maybe cover for a few others, certainly if Bukayo Saka gets injured, we haven’t got a lot of cover for him on that side and maybe a central defender, because we all saw what happened not last season but the season before when we got injuries. Players were out and it cost us, so we do need cover.
In other news, Jude Bellingham, England’s Galactico, has been making waves in the football world with his impressive skills on the pitch. The Birmingham youngster has become a Ballon d’Or contender in just five years and could now lead England to the European Championship.

World Beaters: Hungary and Liverpool star Szoboszlai is another player making a name for himself in the football world. The Hungarian star has been impressing fans with his skills on the pitch and is definitely one to watch in the future.
