Chelsea Transfer News: Blues Eye Premier League Duo as Enzo Maresca Plots Summer Revamp
Chelsea are gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with Enzo Maresca targeting a Premier League duo to bolster his squad. The Blues have already made contact with Leicester City to express interest in signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, although Brighton are also in the running for the midfielder’s signature.
Dewsbury-Hall has been impressive for Leicester City in the Championship
The 25-year-old played a key role in Leicester’s promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists in 44 appearances. While Chelsea haven’t made a formal offer yet, Dewsbury-Hall is keen on joining the Blues, with Fabrizio Romano claiming he’ll be part of a swap deal with Brighton that will see Jakub Moder move to Leicester in the opposite direction.
However, not everyone is convinced by the potential signing. Our opinion is that Dewsbury-Hall wouldn’t improve Chelsea’s starting lineup, but he would be a decent squad player.
Chelsea Want Premier League Defender
Chelsea have also registered an interest in Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, who has been impressive in his debut Premier League campaign. The 21-year-old centre-back has been identified as someone who can improve the Blues’ defensive line following Thiago Silva’s departure.

However, Forest will not let their star man leave the City Ground for cheap this summer, with sources confirming to us that they will demand ‘way over’ £50m for the Brazilian’s signature.
Another Wonderkid Signs
Chelsea are expected to add to their bank of young stars this summer, with the Blues and Boca Juniors reaching an agreement in principle for the transfer of Aarón Anselmino. The 19-year-old defender made his debut for Los Xeneizes last year and has been identified as an exciting prospect for the future.

The report states that Chelsea will pay Boca Juniors $18m, plus performance-based bonuses, with the teenager set to sign a six-year contract. While Chelsea have been credited with the interest, this is the type of deal that would be more suitable for Strasbourg, where Anselmino can get game time to develop and hone his trade.
