Trippier, who has played under several highly-regarded managers during his career, believes he has a lot to offer young players. He wants to replicate the style of his current boss, Eddie Howe, who he praises for his aggressive football and man management skills.
‘I think I’d love to go into coaching,’ Trippier said in the interview. ‘I don’t think I’d want to be a manager, though - too much pressure.’
Instead, Trippier wants to focus on helping young players develop and grow. He believes his experiences playing under different managers, including Diego Simeone and Mauricio Pochettino, have equipped him with valuable knowledge to pass on.
‘Eddie Howe, I think he plays aggressive football, is brave, and gives his players the freedom to express themselves,’ Trippier explained. ‘The best thing about Eddie Howe is his man management. So, he’s got all the attributes to be a world-class manager.’
