Pedersen’s time with Blackburn saw him help the club reach two FA Cup and two League Cup semi-finals. He also managed 34 goals in the Premier League across that period, while also chipping in with 41 assists. One of his most memorable moments was a stunning left-footed volley against Fulham in August 2005, which earned him the Match of the Day Goal of the Month award.

After leaving Blackburn, Pedersen went on to play for Turkish club Karabükspor, before returning to Norway with Rosenborg. He then had spells with boyhood club Tromsø, Alta, and Asane, before taking a short break from the game in 2023. However, he was soon picked up by second-tier side Ranheim, which has taken his career total appearances up to a whopping 657 games.
Despite becoming a free agent, Pedersen is still determined to carry on at the age of 42. He has even received a bizarre transfer offer from Senegal, but it seems he will follow his heart over his next challenge, adding: “I don’t think about the money!”
