Tottenham Make History by Winning Premier League 2 Title

Tottenham Under-21s have made history by becoming the first team to win the Premier League 2 title in the new ‘Swiss style’ format. They defeated Sunderland 3-1 in the final, with two goals from Will Lankshear, who was named PL2 Player of the Season.

The new format, which features 25 teams in one competition, has brought a new level of excitement to the league. Tottenham, who finished top of the ‘regular season’, went into the play-offs and emerged victorious.

“This is a fantastic achievement for the team, and we’re thrilled to have made history,” said Wayne Burnett, Tottenham’s Under-21s coach.

Tottenham’s success is a testament to their hard work and dedication. They remained unbeaten in all competitions against U21 opposition until February and won 11 consecutive PL2 games from the start of the season.
